Conserving Water and Energy Resources in Bali Island

Bali is continuing to soar as a top tourism destination in the world. That is why its administration is keen at making sure that the island continues to have sustainable development.

With that, I Gede Ardika, former Indonesian Tourism Minister and keen observer of the national tourism industry, says that there is a need to develop sustainable tourism projects particularly on the conservation of water and energy resources. This was during the presentation he made on Greener Tourism last November 21, 2012 at Nusa Dua.

“The development of tourism must reduce the need for exploiting natural resources, such as water and energy, while at the same time avoiding the production of sewage and trash,” Ardik said.

It was also added by Ardika that the standard of global tourism ethics and the Indonesian tourism law of 2009 now already include the conservation of natural resources as well as the reduction of environmental impact.

Aside from this, Bali has also put into code environmental preservation and conservation as promulgated in 2012.

And in the process of Bali evolving as a tourism destination, the province must promote its local culture based on Hindu religious ethics. It is also as important to improve the economy of the island and its people while preserving its natural resources.

With these moves, Bali’s resources will not be depleted and its villas Bali and its villas in Bali for rent will continue to be able to provide a homey place to stay in for its visitors. As known by everybody, Bali is the home of a lot of luxury villas Bali that have surely attracted quite a number of tourists to the island. If you want to explore the famed island of the gods, book now any one of the villas in Bali for rent for your ultimate vacation.
